The Lancer Tactical Gen 2 line is Lancers line of beginner AEGs on the market, being extremely budget friendly, and containing all needed to get the gun on the field, right down to the BBs, The Gen 2 line comes in a variety of sizes, colors, and designs, today we will be looking at the Lancer Tactical LT-19 Gen 2 model.
From the front of the gun comes a metal outer barrel with orange tipped birdcage style flash hider. The front sight is a standard flip up style sight that is adjustable for elevation. The outer barrel is made of polymer and is 13.5 inches. Covering the outer barrel is a 10” keymod rail system that provides plenty of rail spaces for accessories such as grip, flashlight, laser, or PEQ box. The rail system is made of durable polymer which also keeps the weight down.
The body is made of the same polymer material as the rail system. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation, it is also removable if another sighting system such as red dot sight or scope is preferred. The dust cover on the Gen 2 series can be easily opened to access the hop up unit, otherwise the dust cover will stay open as the default position with a mock bolt plate to prevent any unwanted debris from entering the hop up or the gearbox. All Gen 2 AEGs have a sling adapter on its comfortable 6 position retractable crane stock. The battery housing is located inside the crane stock, and the space inside the stock can accommodate a 9.6V NiMH Nunchuck battery.
The gearbox is a full metal V2 gearbox that is compatible with an extensive variety of aftermarket replacement or upgrade parts. Based on the gearbox specs, it is recommended to use this rifle with a 9.6v NiMH battery or a 7.4v Lipo battery. 11.1v Lipo batteries are more powerful and can be used to power the rifle to achieve a higher rate of fire and crispier trigger response but at the cost of a higher rate of wear and tear on the rifle.
All Lancer Tactical Gen 2 series come with the same hop up and barrel set up: aluminum inner barrel, plastic hop up and standard bucking. Just like the gear box, all major components listed above can be replaced or upgraded with aftermarket parts to achieve better accuracy.
The Lancer Tactical LT-19 Gen 2 comes in 2 versions, a high power one that shoots around 380-400fps, a low power one that shoots 310-350fps. Great gun for the price
I was trying to find an inexpensive airsoft gun for my son and someone online recommended this. I am so glad that I got this. It is a great gun for the price, I am surprised on how sturdy it feels and the range is amazing.
This product is out standing in quality and performance for its price!!!!! If your starting airsoft this would be one of the BEST options for your first gun
amazing quality for the price
First off, i just want to say how good of a site airsoftmaster is. They test every gun that you buy, and chronos test the fps on the gun. This gun was chronoed at 344fps with .20 bb. I have never seen such care in product quality. The lancer tactical lt-19-g2 is such an amazing gun for the price. It shoots amazingly at long range and is a beautifully constructed firearm.
Best bang for the buck. I own two and my best friend owns two. With a few cheap upgrades and good BBs you can make a rediculously underpriced rifle very competative.
If you want a platform for building a better than average rifle for a fraction of what the other guys spent then this is the gun for you. If you do buy this gun at the very least swap the bucking for a good modified flat hop and change the spring to a M115 so you can get as close to 400 FPS with .20s as possible without going over. You will see a noticeable increase in your range and accuracy and you can do it for less than 30 dollars. If your not sure how do do any of this, google it. If you want to go a little further without spending a lot , you may want to adjust your motor height, they tend to be a little too tight from the factory. If your not afraid to open the gear box you should re-shim the gears, again too tight. Those two adjustments will make your gun run quieter ,faster and smoother. While your in the gear box ,you should seal any leaks in your air system. I would change the air nozzle for a metal one that has an o-ring , they’re 5-8 dollars. Next, lightly coat the inside of the air cylinder with synthetic loob to reduce leaking around the piston. Then Teflon tape the cylinder head to seal it shut. By doing those three things you will boost your efficiency and consistency while giving a little bump to your FPS . It’s also a good idea to wrap a little Teflon tape around the barrel near the tip and next to the hop up so it will move as little as possible inside the outer barrel. With these cheap and easy tweaks your Lancer will come alive. By doing this to ours we were able to get them to easily reach out as far as 250 feet (using .28 BBs) while being able to consistently hit targets 200 feet after a few shots. I love being able to take my ( slightly modified ) Lancer to the airsoft field and out shoot most of them with superior range and accuracy. It’s amazing how many of those high dollar guns don’t perform any better than a stock Lancer. I stomp all over people with 500$ rifles all the time. Even if you add the price of these upgrades to the price of the rifle It would still be really hard to find another gun that will perform like that for so little money. Skill and teamwork aside, if you want to succeed on the field you need good equipment. So you can either get something inexpensive with potential and learn to work on it or you can drop a 1000$ on a polar star. The Lancer won’t out shoot a 1000$ gun but even those guys quickly learn not to underestimate me or my Lancer.
great gun few hiccups!
The gun is super solid and in great shape. The upgrades are suttle but effective. With that said there is one issue that is minor but irritating. The magazine does not seat and lock in the mag well with out jiggling it and pushing it forward. It functions proprely when it seats but when you are in the moment and mag change time is crucial it fails the test.
Great value airsoft gun
Just got it a few days ago. Tried it out yesterday and was really impressed on how it performed. It shoots really far 150ft i think. The polymer body feels solid and the battery last me the whole afternoon.
My first gun and very happy with the purchase. It shoots further than I expected. It looks great with the keymod rail, the magazine feeds really well. comes with 9.6v battery.
