- Standard Precision BBs: These are the most commonly used airsoft BBs. They are typically made of plastic and come in various weights, with 0.20g and 0.25g being popular choices. These BBs are manufactured with higher level of quality and control and consistence. Standard Precision BBs offer a good accuracy, and consistency, range, and velocity, making them suitable for a wide range of airsoft guns. (BBs below .20g are often of inferior quality and material thus producing jamming issues (ie. 12g bbs))
- Plant-Based BBs: As environmental consciousness grows, plant-based BBs have gained popularity. Made from eco-friendly materials like cornstarch or PLA (Polylactic Acid), these BBs break down naturally over time, reducing their impact on the environment. They are available in various weights to suit different gameplay styles.
- Tracer BBs: Tracer BBs uses a glow-in-the-dark material and they need to be fired through a tracer unit attached to the airsoft gun's barrel. As the tracer bb passes through the tracer unit, it will flash a UV light energizing the bb to glow. This creates a visible trail of light, allowing players to track their shots in low-light or night-time conditions. Tracer BBs are often used for specialized night games.
- Heavy BBs: Heavy BBs, typically ranging from 0.30g to 0.40g or even higher, are designed for high-powered airsoft guns and sniper rifles. Their increased weight provides more stability and accuracy over longer distances but may sacrifice some velocity.
- Plant-Based Tracer BBs: Combining the features of both plant-baced and tracer BBs, plant-baced tracer BBs are designed for eco-friendly night games. They break down naturally over time and emit a visible glow in low-light conditions.
